Breakfast with the Fishes

On Sunday the Gang and I went the the Annual Fisherman's Breakfast in Medical Lake at the Fire Department. I hadn't been to it in years for one reason or another. And well it was just as good as I remember. The guy's at the fire house sure know how to cook breakfast! We had pancakes, sausage, hash browns, and eggs! Yummmmy! After wards we went and woke up Grumpa Russell and Auntie Shele, who were still sleeping while all that good food was going on. Crazy! LOL. Well if you are ever in the area at the beginning of fishing season I recommend to go to the Fisherman's Breakfast! Awesome Grub!

Easter

Spring Break ended with Easter Sunday, Kayla had never had a good old fashion Easter so we showed her how we roll our eggs up here. Saturday Joanna was at a friend's spending the night so Michael and Kayla dyed the eggs and put stickers all over them, (I got the cool camouflage egg dying kit) and after Michael and Kayla went and picked up Joanna on Sunday the girl's went egg crazy. They hunted plastic candy filled eggs and hard boiled eggs and also found bubbles and chocolate bunnies, then I told them the Easter Bunny LOVED the hot tub and so they ran in the back and found their special Easter Gifts. After all the eggs were found the Gang and I piled in the car and headed up to Elk to spend some time with Aunt Donna. She cooked a ham and boy was it good! We pet the cows, waved at the not so friendly horses and watch the duck named Daffy wattle to the barn. Then the four wheelers came out and Kayla was taught how to drive the smaller one and then we couldn't get either of the girls off of them to go home.

Spring Break

Spring Break started on March 26th and boy did the Gang and I put the U in FUN. The girls started the weekend with spending the night with some friends. Then we went to the Scenic View of the Colombia River, over the river we went and found the coolest shop with cement dinosaurs and the shop sold gem stones and other precious stones, back over the river to the Wild Horse Monument, the gang and I hiked up the hill and played on the Big Iron Horses. The Gang and I even went to Mt. Spokane and played in the snow! We had a snowball fight that I believe I won :)-  Then after that we went rollerskating at Pattison's.  The in between times we all spent watching movies, playing on the computer, crafting, playing hide and go seek in the dark or going out to eat. We really had a good time and didn't want to go back to the daily grind of real life.
