We went to Emmette,Idaho for Thanksgiving. Where my Aunt Marti had come to join the festivities!
It was so awesome to see her, I hadn't seen her in 10 years. We of course had to play the family card game that has been passed down from generation to generation, Russian Bank. And I found out that I was pretty good! Not going to give the final tally but I dished it out pretty well! Here is a picture of Jo and Aunt Marti watching TV.
On friday we went to the Boise Zoo and had a blast. We all had so much fun and some alittle too much, LOL!
Friday night Michael, Elise and myself went to sing our hearts out at the local bar. Karaoke Baby!! And we had a request from the Babysitter (My Mom Marybeth) that the fee for babysitting was for us to sing the Y.M.C.A. not only that but we had to take pictures to prove that fact we sang in the first place!
Then on Saturday we went Shooting, I got to show my little Conger Girl how to shoot a weapon and she did great!! She fell in love with the sport and didn't want to stop! Here is a picture of Grandpa Bill and Joanna. And one of Michael.
Then that night off to a Birthday Party for Katie Sears my Niece, she turned the big 16 years, WOW! I feel old!! Here is Elise, Chris and Myself.
Sunday morning brought pony riding with Auntie Roo (Elise) and Uncle Tigger(Brian). And Turtle pancakes at Grandpa Bill's (no Turtle's were harmed in the making of this breakfast/they are just shaped that way) A Grandpa Specialty!!
And then very saddly we had to go home! :(
Life has gone back to normal, well as normal as it was. I still don't have my truck back, Michael and our friend Dan are still working on it and say it should be drivable in a day or so, but the front of the truck ie. the bumper and grill are still a work in progress. The front end that the guy got for us that was fixing it doesn't fit and isn't the right part for the truck. So now we have to go back to where the guy got the parts and see if we can trade. I guess the Toyota Tacoma has a big manufacturing difference in 1997 around May, so we need to look at the truck and figure out if the truck was build before or after May of '97'. Good Grief!!
But other than that Jo is back at school and happy to be there. We have been determined to read every night! She reads to me for 20 minute or more than I read a book to her, she picks of course, and the pick for the past two nights has been Dr. Seuss Sleep Book, which is one of my favorite books ever!
Haven't seen Michael much for the past two nights, last night he didn't get home till 1230 and I was already in bed.
Love you all!!
